Laval, Québec (March 11, 2011) - Uniboard®, a North American leader of manufactured engineered wood products, is pleased to announce the launch of its new one-stop shop program at its Mont-Laurier and Val-d’Or mills located in Quebec, Canada. Committed to enhancing the Uniboard experience for its distributors, the Company is leveraging the superior capabilities and the proximity of its Mont-Laurier and Val-d’Or production facilities in order to allow distributors to order from the two production facilities in one single step. As of March 2, 2011, distributors can customize their product orders and combine loads from the two plants according to their respective particleboard, MDF and melamine needs, allowing them to minimizing overall shipping layers and fees.

“At Uniboard, we have a client-centric approach to business and our team is committed to ensuring that our distributors have every portal available to meet their customers’ project needs,” said Lise Plante, Product Manager, Uniboard. “The new one-stop shop program allows our distributors to take full advantage of Uniboard’s increased production capacity and service offerings. All of our North American distributors can now tailor their inventory orders and respond to specific product demand in one quick and swift step, making Uniboard a true one-stop shop.”

As the Mont-Laurier mill only specializes in the production of MDF and the Val-d’Or mill in particleboard and thermofused melamine, this Program eliminates a layer in the distribution process and will increasingly allow all Uniboard product lines to be more readily available in the market. The Program will also bring clients additional service support and access to a wider range of panels.
