Uniboard is looking for an Sales representative and Specifications for his head office but the role is located in the USA.

Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, the sales representative and specifications will work closely with the sales team and will be responsible for growing the business with our value added products.

Your daily Tasks:

  • Identify and secure Uniboard product specifications with end users, designers and specifiers
  • Establish and grow Uniboard’s design specification share for Uniboard with our value added products 
  • Support regional sales managers to increase market penetration
  • Addresses specifier, designers and end users needs to generate business
  • Promote new products, support clients with sales development and sales opportunities
  • Ensure constant product visibility with clients and users
  • Participates in the development of sales plans and programs to penetrate and secure new markets
  • Support and train manufacturers and end users
  • Identify and support of key contractors involved with major specified projects
  • Undertake the necessary actions to achieve the sales budget for his/her territory 


  • Business or College Degree in Design or equivalent
  • 1-3 years Design/Specification selling experience
  • Prior experience in the building materials and panel industry as well as experience and good knowledge in the manufacturing industry. Familiar with design specifications, construction design elements
  • Knowledge of TFL products preferred
  • Knowledge and/or experience within the kitchen cabinet, closet and stores fixtures industry is an asset
  • Results-oriented, excellent negotiation skills
  • Self-starter – Home based office
  • This role requires consistent travel within the territory and overnight of three nights per week average.  Flexible schedule (some evenings and weekends will be required) and the ability to travel extensively (70%)
