Uniboard Appoints Tom Ruedy Director, Business Development MDF/HDF Moncure

Laval, Québec (February 11, 2010) — Uniboard, a leader in manufactured wood products, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Ruedy to the position of Director, Business Development MDF/HDF - Moncure, effective February 8th, 2010. 

With over 20 years of experience in the medium and high-density fiberboard (MDF/HDF) business, Ruedy will be responsible to drive and execute the global sales strategy of the Moncure MDF plant focusing on the development of new customers, markets and other business opportunities in both the North American and International markets. Ruedy previously served as Uniboard’s US Technical Sales Manager.

“Tom brings a wealth of experience and leadership to this role,” states Don Raymond, Vice President Marketing, Uniboard. “His role will be invaluable as he prospects key strategic accounts for our new Moncure MDF facility.  He will work hand-in-hand with the North American sales team and will be the primary sales interface with the Moncure MDF Operations and Logistics teams to ensure sales plans are achieved.” 
 
Uniboard’s new MDF facility is situated in Moncure, NC approximately 40 miles from Raleigh NC, and is geographically well positioned to service the entire Eastern United States.
