Located on the Eastern tip of Quebec, the Sayabec mill is Uniboard^®’s largest particleboard manufacturing facility. The mill is positioned in close proximity to Eastern Quebec’s logging companies, a major source of pre-consumer recycled and recovered wood fiber. The facility produces multiple thicknesses and sizes of particleboard as well as value-added melamine panels and has an annual production capacity of more than 435 million square feet (660 000 m³), ¾ inch basis.
