Moncure, North Carolina, January 24, 2012 – Uniboard® USA LLC, a North American leader in engineered wood products announced today that it has successfully finalized the sale of its facilities located in Moncure, North Carolina to a subsidiary of Paneles Arauco. Uniboard® had entered into an agreement with Arauco to sell the Moncure facilities on December 29, 2011.

Laval, Québec (April 21, 2011) - Uniboard®, a North American leader of manufactured engineered wood products, is pleased to announce the launch of its Natura product line. Produced using the latest manufacturing technology, this multi-purpose panel features a superior surface quality, uniform density and sanding smoothness. Whether your project calls for painting, lacquering or any type of lamination, Uniboard’s Natura panels are the ideal solution.
Production of the Natura product line will be at the Uniboard® Mont-Laurier site in Quebec, Canada. Similar to many Uniboard® products, Natura panels are made using 100% pre-consumer recycled or recovered wood fiber, which saves trees and avoids landfill. The panels are both FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and EPP certified (Environmentally Preferable Product by the Composite Panel Association).

3/11/11 UNIBOARD® LAUNCHES NEW ONE-STOP SHOP PROGRAM IN MONT-LAURIER AND VAL-D’OR
Laval, Québec (March 11, 2011) - Uniboard®, a North American leader of manufactured engineered wood products, is pleased to announce the launch of its new one-stop shop program at its Mont-Laurier and Val-d’Or mills located in Quebec, Canada. Committed to enhancing the Uniboard experience for its distributors, the Company is leveraging the superior capabilities and the proximity of its Mont-Laurier and Val-d’Or production facilities in order to allow distributors to order from the two production facilities in one single step. As of March 2, 2011, distributors can customize their product orders and combine loads from the two plants according to their respective particleboard, MDF and melamine needs, allowing them to minimizing overall shipping layers and fees.
