Uniboard^® Door Core features the latest in engineered wood manufacturing technology and is distinguished by its smooth surface and exceptional machining characteristics. Uniboard^® Door Core is manufactured with select wood fibers bonded with a proprietary resin formulation developed and produced in-house.

Manufactured at our state-of-the-art facilities across North America, Uniboard^® Door Core’s smooth, dense and non-porous surface makes it ideal for laminating and machining. It cuts easily and cleanly without chipping, optimizing production time and minimizing waste.

Lightweight and designed to meet all ANSI standards, Uniboard^® Door Core features an appealing light colour and a consistent core. Uniboard^® Door Core is available in LD1 and LD2 grades and can be ordered in the industry’s widest selection of sizes and thicknesses.

Flame Spread Index

All Uniboard products (Particleboard, MDF, Thermofused melamine and all NAUF products) meet the Class 3 or C ULC 723-10 (ASTM E84) requirements concerning the Flame Spread Index (between 76 and 200) and the Smoke Development (maximum 450)
