Uniboard® opens Canada’s first MDF mill with continuous press and leading edge technology at Mont-Laurier, Quebec.

First Decor Paper plant in Canada with leading edge technology opens in Drummondville, Quebec.

Uniboard® installs new $120 million, 10’ wide, 111.5’ long continuous MDF press at La Baie mill in Quebec; a North American first.
2000
Uniboard® leads the market, opening North America’s first large scale laminated flooring division.
2004
Uniboard® becomes Canada’s first totally integrated laminate flooring company.
2006
Uniboard® becomes North America first full-scale producer of narrow flooring planks.
2008
Uniboard® acquires ATC Panel’s Moncure, North Carolina particleboard production facility and breaks ground on a new $160 million MDF mill at the site.
2009
Launch of Uniboard® Academy to provide resources for our network of distributors.
2009
Uniboard® Canada Inc.’s management is proud to announce an investment of over $2 million for the addition of a new melamine press at its Val-d’Or mill.

Moncure MDF, North America’s largest and most cost-efficient MDF/HDF production line, opens and begins operation in North Carolina. New facility and existing particleboard mill form Moncure mega-site, a one-stop shop for manufacturers and distributors.
